For close to twenty years, I have provided counseling services for gifted, highly gifted, exceptionally gifted and profoundly gifted children, adolescents, teens, adults and families—with a particular focus on psychological and life dynamics.
My education background includes intensive training with Violet Oaklander, theorist of the Gestalt Play Therapy Model. I employ an experiential approach, which utilizes grounded and creative means in order to help individuals explore and strengthen their sense of self, thus reconciling emotions and addressing situations they find challenging.
Borne from my interests and experience, I have a systems orientation, and can see and understand how an organization functions at all levels. Applying my knowledge and expertise to the family circle, I help families identify problems and solutions, and support them in the ongoing search for balance and harmony.
As a humanist, I know people hold their own answers within. My intention is to help illuminate innate wisdom and deepen the healing process.
I work with clients in my Boulder, Denver or Vail, Colorado counseling offices, and when appropriate via electronic conferencing.
